Sample

Samples are a great way to try new products so I thought I would share a couple of ways I try out new products before committing.  The two I use the most are Sephora points and Ipsy.  If you shop at Sephora at all get a points card, I am currently a VIB card holder.  Basically whenever you purchase anything you earn points which you can apply to generous samples like the one posted below and try products for free!  They select really great products to do this with.  I do recommend ordering online because they typically have a larger selection of products to exchange for points than in store.  I have found some of my very favorite products this way!!  Ipsy is also great.  You pay $10 a month and receive a cute little bag with generous samples of hair skin and makeup products.  It's really fun!  You take a mini quiz to customize the bag for you.  If you review your bag after they will customize it even more.  The bags are cute and great for your purse or travel and the products are good quality.  Check it out!!

This hair mask is one of my new favorites.  It has almond oil which locks in moisture, adds shine and prevents frizz.  B-vitamins which are so wonderful for hair!  They restore nourishment and improve texture.  Rosehip oil is very hydrating and this ingredient and also controls frizz.  The fragrance is light and not overpowering which is important to me.

Shampoo hair and rinse thoroughly, apply hair mask for 5-30 minutes and then rinse.  I try to rinse with cold water which seals the cuticle and prevents frizz.  When masking I leave product on longer than recommended unless it is a treatment with protein, then always follow instructions.  I have posted about masking on my hair page with extra tips as well.

Happy shopping!! :)
